The Shri Yantra or Sri Yantra is a Hindu symbol that represents good wealth and prosperity. It is believed that placing the Sri Yantra in the right place at the right time can bring positivity in the place. The yantra is symbolic of the Goddess of wealth i.e. goddess Lakshmi of Hinduism. Shree represents wealth and Yantra represents instrument.

If a person is having financial troubles, this yantra gives immense energy and power to help with financial gains. However, one should maintain its sanctity and follow proper procedures to get the benefits.

Prayers should be offered to Sri yantra every day and on Fridays, special prayers along with offerings like jaggery, sweet and incense should be done.

Shri Yantra has 9 interlocked triangles with the top one representing the mountain Mahameru which is considered to be the center of the universe. The other 8 triangles represent the mountains that guard the Mahameru mountain. Apart from material wealth, Sri Yantra can help bring prosperity, spirituality and peace in one's life. Sri Yantra should be installed facing the north-east or east direction in your office, home, shop, vehicle etc... on Fridays one hour after sunrise. The place should be cleaned well and a clean cloth of golden, yellow or silver should be placed above which the Yantra should be installed. The tip of the yantra should face the east. You should perform 'Abhishekam' (bath consisting of milk, saffron, water) after installing the yantra. While performing the rituals one should chant the Sri Yantra mantra 'Ayeem hreem namaha'.
