An Akkadian king can be seen worshipping this structure, an eightpointed Venus star with its radiation symbolized by five wavy lines between each of the star's eight points. Its meaning is Venus in both of its appearances, the Morning star and the Evening star, the goddess Inanna or Ishtar.
