The unpronounceable symbol also known as the "Love Symbol", is the sage name of the American singer-songwriter Prince.
In 1993, while in a contractual dispute with Warner Bros., Prince changed his stage name to this symbol, which was explained as a combination of the symbols for male (♂) and female (♀).
Prince continued to use the symbol as a logo and on album artwork and to play a Love Symbol-shaped guitar.
