49:6 · One of the most common signs in musical notation. It is often used in different contexts to symbolize music in general. In musical notation 49:6 is the G-clef. The sign is common to indicate the control for treble tones register filter on stereos and TVs, i.e. the control for the "sharpness" of the sounds.
    Compare with 14:13, which is often used in the same ways and contexts for bass tone register control.
