42:26

42:22 · A sign in alchemy for nitric acid. This acid was also drawn 52:6 and 45:7.
Compare with 37:8 for hydrochloric acid.
The prefix 02:20 was commonly used to indicate an acid. One added it, for example, to the sign for sulphur,39:3, which gave the sign for sulphuric acid, 53:21. The sign 02:6 is an old one in alchemy for fire, and symbolized the etching and burning qualities of acids.
