35:01

35:2 · This ideogram is used by several theosophic societies. See 29:14 in Group 29 for more facts. The ideogram is a combination of the ancient Egyptian sign 42:19, a gods' staff sign that is a symbol for life and rebirth. This sign, the ankh, is placed at the center of the star of the two opposite elements, fire and water, 27:22, which is in turn placed in the circle of eternity. The whole structure is then crowned with the fylfot or gammadion, which is here used to signify the continual rebirth of metempsychosis.
See also the alchemical sign 23:3 in Group 23.
The fylfot rotating counterclockwise (following one of the lines from the center gives this movement) is known in India as the sauvastika, the bringer of misfortune. See 15:5 in Group 15 for more data.
