29:8 · In India, 4,000 years ago, this structure was regarded a holy sign. It is also found on Japanese Buddha statues from the eighth century A.D. In Buddhism 29:8 is the wheel of life, a symbol for the Eightfolded Way to the goal, freedom from reincarnation.
