A sign for lapis lazuli in alchemy. This stone is a dark blue sodium mineral, often used in jewelry, mosaics, etc. It was also the mineral used to produce authentic ultra marine, a rich, deep blue and very expensive paint colouring pigment.
Compare with  , similar in structure, found in the US system of hobo signs with the meaning leave quickly.
