The sun enters this section of the zodiac (see in Group 35) around November 22, and exits around December 21. Sagittarius is symbolized by a being whose lower body is that of a horse, and upper that of a man, known as a centaur. The man part is holding a stretched bow, the arrow in place.
    The exact age of this graph is difficult to determine. In the form it was used already in the natal charts (horoscopes) of ancient Greece. Other signs used for Sagittarius are and .
